Just upgraded from 3.1 to 5. Big help project, several problems already. Will start here:

Try deleting the output folder before doing the build.
Also, it looks like it got partway through the build. If you switch back to the other tab, the build should show at what topic or process it was at when the error occurred. That might help narrow down where the problem is.

Yes, by the time I'd posted message, had deleted output folder but still received same message. In the meantime, another writer found pages that apparently contained stuff v5 didn't like and was able to make corrections. Build works now, though with a handful of those "Generating alias file // missing topic" errors that shouldn't be a big deal to figure out.

Your alias file may contain references to files that don't exist, the project will still compile and work.
