One of our product managers has asked if there's a way that we could "bold" those items in our ToC that are "chapter headings".
For example, he'd like to see the ToC entries I've highlighted in red...
...formatted in "bold".
I checked through the stylesheet but didn't find anything I recognized as a way of formatting ToC entries.
Any help or advice on this would be appreciated.

You can't format the text, but you can change the icon used for the books. Make it a different colored book or a totally different image. You create a class for the book in the skin, specify the new image for that class, then in the TOC entry for that book you specify the new class. So your top-level books can look different from children books which can look different from their children books, and so on. Likewise with topics -- you can have some use a different icon, if you want.
Make sure you delete the output folder before rebuilding, otherwise the browser might load the previously-cached book image instead of the new one that you specify in the skin.

Re: Can You Format TOC Entries?
There was a discussion a few months ago about changing icons - you can also change the font weight, colour, size etc. Have a look at:
http://forums.madcapsoftware.com/viewto ... f=9&t=9241
and ignore the bits about the icon.
Basically, you edit the skin (not the stylesheet), and add a new class to the TocEntry item.
Then, in your TOC that needs to be bolded, select the line, choose Properties, and then select your new style class.

I actually did discover the appropriate styles in the Skin Editor and was wondering if they were what I needed to tweak. You've confirmed my suspicions.
Much appreciated!

Oh, yeah, forgot there were font options in the skin. I remembered you could specify a different icon because of that previous discussion, but I haven't edited the skin in quite awhile and forgot about the font options.
Sorry for the misinformation.
