Propogate from Flare to repostority?

Using Perforce with Flare 5 and it is working well. I have a question about general integration with source control in general.

QUESTION:
If I have a file checked out, can I delete it from the local file system and also have it permently removed from the perforce repository? If so, how?

If I can't do this, I'll need to do file deletions in the source control repository. Not a big deal because I don't need to delete files that often, but it does come up. If there's an easier way, I'd like to use it. Any info appreciated.
