Hi everyone,
I'm creating new bullet styles for a web help stylesheet. I have images for the bullets in list-style-image and they look correct when i preview topics except that they are place way too high and don't line up correctly with the text. Is there a setting that I'm missing?
Many thanks!
Paula
Vertical positioning of bullet images
Re: Vertical positioning of bullet images
Depends on the size of your image file for the bullets. How many pixels high is it?

It's 6x6 px.
Re: Vertical positioning of bullet images
The default option for positioning images might be to text top or just top. Are you using the HTML-standard ul and li tags for the list, or did you create a custom paragraph tag and use the autonumbering fields to make the custom paragraph look like a list item?
If you're using the ul/li tags, then you might be able to set the vertical alignment property to middle, but I can't remember if that will work on the bullet image or the text of the line item. I don't have Flare running at the moment and can't test it, but you can try it.
If you're using a custom paragraph class, then I'm guessing you're calling a custom span class in the autonumbering field and that span class is what calls the image. If so, then set that span class to have a vertical alignment of middle.

Re: Vertical positioning of bullet images
Thanks! I'm not using auto-numbering and tried changing the position of the image but that had no effect. I will keep playing around and let you know if I fix it.
