Anyone know the cause of this error message?
"MSWord Importer (Internal Error): Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

Some word docs will not import, error appears;

I can't say definitively what it is, but here are a few things to check:
1) Do you have a copy of Word 2003 SP2 or later on the system? Flare makes use of Word for the import, so if Word isn't installed it won't work. Older versions also aren't supported.
2) Reset any fields to straight text before importing (I think Ctrl+A to select everything then Shift+F9 should convert the fields - but I may not have those shortcuts right....) I have heard of things like TOCs and the like causing issues on import.
3) Try to make sure that the style list is as clean as possible.
