I am using a special character on a topic from the wingdings font. In the Flare editor the character shows correctly. When built and viewed in IE, the character is correct however it is not correct in FF.
So I tried a different character from the provided special character list, the bullet. This however shows fine in FF but not in IE.
Any ideas on this one?
Thanks.

Re: Character different in IE vs FF
Generally, you should make the character into an image and use that. The reason being that you can't be sure that the user's computer has the font you're referencing. For instance, is Wingdings supported on Macs? (Which may or may not be an issue for you, but it's an example.) So if the character isn't part of the character map for your content font (e.g., Verdana, Arial, etc.), then make an image of the character and use that instead.
